What is a Healing Retreat?

A MindAccess healing retreat is a multi-day, residential experience that combines intensive group hypnotherapy, individual one-to-one work, guided meditation, and contemplative time in nature. It is led by Dr. Shalini Verma and Capt. Avinash Kumar Verma, and shaped around the small group of participants who attend.

Unlike a single session, a retreat unfolds over several days. That changes what is possible. There is space to prepare, to go deep, to integrate, to rest, and to go deep again — supported the whole way by the group and the facilitators.

Who It Is For

The retreat is for anyone who wants a deeper transformation than what one or two sessions can offer. People typically come if they are:

  • Working through a heavy or long-standing emotional pattern — grief, anxiety, anger, relationship wounds
  • Curious about past life regression and want a more immersive experience
  • Looking for clarity on a major life decision or direction
  • Recovering from burnout and craving a real reset — not just a holiday
  • Already on a healing or spiritual path and want a deeper layer of insight

You do not need any prior experience with hypnotherapy or meditation to attend.

What to Expect

Each retreat is different, shaped by the people in the room, but the rhythm is consistent:

  • Immersion. Three to four days fully away from work, screens and routine — in a calm, natural setting.
  • Group hypnotherapy. Powerful guided sessions held with the whole group, designed to open doors that single sessions can’t.
  • Individual work. One-to-one time with Dr. Shalini for the deeper personal threads that come up.
  • Meditation, reflection, and rest. Time to integrate what surfaces, not just to push through more material.
  • Meals and stay included. So you can be fully present without logistics on your mind.

Most participants describe the retreat as significantly more transformative than they expected — not because of any one session, but because of the cumulative effect of staying with the work over several days.

Ooty

Our February 2026 retreat in Ooty was a small-group immersion that ran exactly as designed. Participants worked through long-held patterns over the course of several days, supported by the group container and by the natural setting of the Nilgiris. Feedback from the group was the reason we scheduled a second retreat in the same location for May.
